Why choose Amazing Events for your next event??

The answer is simple...
Amazing Events are passionate about events!

Why hire an event expert?

Event managers will oversee all the details of your party - from negotiating with venue operators to briefing caterers, buying beverages or sourcing props and decorations - can save you money as well as time and trouble.

If you hire the right person you can relax in the certainty that your big celebration will unfold smoothly and delightfully for all concerned and that the event will be more fabulous and memorable than you could have envisaged.

An event manager can help with all aspects of your event including, but not limited to:

Sticking to a budget:
An event manager will make sure you have a realistic grasp of what's feasible on the budget you have and knows how to stretch a budget by clever co-ordination, packaging, cost-cutting, networking and negotiation. A professional event manager will make sure you don’t squander your budget on the wrong things, overlook costly details or misjudge how much money it takes to feed, water and entertain your guests at a your amazing event.
Amazing Events have worked within budgets from $1,000 to over $50,000 in a variety of events including weddings to corporate events and will be adding to our repertoire of events with singles events and expos in 2008.

Knowing the right people:
Planning extraordinary events takes experience and insider contacts. An experienced co-ordinator will have the right network of contacts within the party, entertainment and hospitality industries. The bigger their network and the more goodwill they have within it, the better. A well connected and well-regarded event manager is in the best position to source and secure venues, caterers, props, equipment, service staff and entertainers for your event. Who they know is important, as a personal charm: if an event manager can use his or her contacts or skills to negotiate better deals for you, the money you've paid for their services could be recouped in full - and you'll get better supplies and service too.
Amazing Events have been co-ordinating events since 1997 and has partnerships and associations with Rotary, MCEI (Gold member of Marketing Communications Executives International Inc) and several Bridal and Event Network Groups.

Communication, co-ordination and calm:
Planning an elaborate event is a big production involving logistics, co-ordination, attention to detail, and good people and organisational skills. If you want your event to come together seamlessly and go smoothly and spectacularly on the day, you'll need an event co-ordinator who is well organised, reliable and responsible, easy to get a hold of, a clear communicator, and calm in a crisis. Planning an elaborate event also involves a variety of service people, suppliers, technicians and performers. A good event manager is able to negotiate and liaise effectively with all sorts of people, from security and bar staff to venue operators, lighting technicians to rock musicians. Things are sometimes going to get stressful, especially in the immediate lead up to a big or elaborate event. Your event manager needs to be adept at dealing with conflict and crisis situations, people management and problem solving.
The owner of Amazing Events has 10 years event experience in a wide range of events and makes sure that all staff have the appropriate knowledge and education as well as the skills to deal with conflicts and people from all avenues of the event industry as well as polite and courteous to our customers.

An Eye for detail:
Its important that your event manager is a stickler for detail, and has experience with the proper procedures for getting permits, licenses, contracts and special dispensations from venues, councils and site management bodies; as well as some legal knowledge. You want to be able to leave the official details to him or her and be confident you'll get no nasty surprises or mid-party shutdowns.
At Amazing Events we make sure that every detail of your event is planned well in advance with accurate pricing and quotes to make sure there are no surprises before the big day. We make sure we have a large selection of backup suppliers on hand so that if any major problems occur with a supplier you are not left with a disaster filled or stressful event. We also have a reliable insurance broker who will make sure that all of your insurance and license details are taken care of.

Technical know-how:
It helps if your event manager is familiar with all varieties of state of the art party equipment, from lasers to fireworks, closed circuit TV to decks and big display screens. These days, big events often have a large technical component. That may mean wiring the place for specialist lighting, setting up DJ decks, a dance floor, a plasma screen or a PA system. Your event producer should be able to oversee equipment setups, technical checks and your entertainment program - or, if it is a big event, be able to hire a reliable stage/floor manager.
Amazing Events has over 15 years experience with technical equipment so whether your event is big or small we can handle your technical needs with ease.

Creative approaches and solutions:
Professional party and event planners are adept at creating unique and exciting special events. Whether you're putting together a charity ball with all the trimmings or a simple cocktail do, a big society wedding or a hens night or a corporate training event, a good co-ordinator will have creative cost effective solutions. A good event planner can find imaginative, innovative ways to utilise your budget, even if it is not huge. Look for an event manager whose portfolio excites you. And don't assume that event managers only co-ordinate large parties or lavish events - they can help with something as simple as your son's 21st birthday party, or as elaborate as your company's big product launch. If you want your party to stand out from the crowd, find someone who can create and execute a grand vision. Make sure your event co-ordinators style matches the party you have in mind. Funky or formal? Exotic or elegant? Contemporary chic or retro romantic? Find a co-ordinator whose vision is in line with your own. Ensure that creativity doesn’t become 'sky's the limit' thinking by insisting that your event planner provides detailed costing breakdowns and timelines, and give regular progress reports.
Amazing Events will work with you to create your dream event then come back with a realistic way to achieve this in your given budget. We also provide monthly, fortnightly, weekly and daily progress reports on your event as required. You will absolutely love the events Amazing Events will put together for you.

The right CV:
Don’t hire someone new to the business or someone who has only co-ordinated small, simple functions to mastermind your lavish A-list dinner or spectacular product launch. If you're planning a big corporate dinner, hire an event manager with experience in handling large corporate events. If you're planning a celebration where the food is focus, hire a planner with experience in doing dinners, weddings and milestone anniversary dos. Make sure you and your co-ordinator are clear about and see eye-to-eye on, or at least appraised of each others ideas about the party and how it is to be executed. Choose well and wisely, as this is arguably the most important party planning decision you will make. With the right event manager at your side, you can create a spectacularly successful event - one that runs to budget and on schedule, is stress-free for the hosts and is exciting, enjoyable and memorable for everyone concerned.
Amazing Events has 10 years experience in the event management business and has hosted over 30 major events and over 50 smaller events and meetings. We have the creative spirit to make sure your event is everything you could ever hope for and the background, experience and contacts to make sure your event comes under budget and without stress.
